Fishle ("the app") is a receipt-scanning and expense-tracking app by Erylabs. This policy explains what data we process, why, and your choices. We keep your financial data on your device and never sell it. Questions or data requests: mustafaerylmzz@gmail.com.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a basic identity — your email address, display name, and a user ID — through Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). We use this only to create and secure your account and to link your subscription and scan quota to you. We never receive your Google/Apple password.
When you scan a receipt, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend (Firebase Cloud Functions), which forwards it to Google Gemini to read the text on the receipt (merchant, date, amounts, line items). This is transient: the image is used to extract the data and is not stored on our servers afterwards.
The receipts you save — merchant, amounts, categories, tags, notes, and the receipt image — are stored locally on your device only. This data is not uploaded to our servers and is not synced across devices. Uninstalling the app removes it.
To manage your subscription and scan credits, we store — linked to your account — your purchase token, product ID, subscription status, and expiry date. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store); we do not receive or store your payment card details.
Free-tier users watch a rewarded ad before scanning a receipt (subscribers see no ads). Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, and may use them for personalization — subject to your device's ad-privacy settings. On iOS we ask for permission via App Tracking Transparency before ads are loaded; if you decline, you still see ads but they are not personalized. Subscribing removes ads entirely. If you set a budget, the app shows local budget-alert notifications generated on your device. No data leaves your device for this feature.

We do not collect your location, contacts, calendar, health data, or microphone audio. We do not sell or rent your personal data. Receipt and spending data never leaves your device.
You can change any of these anytime in your device settings.
Account and subscription data is kept while your account exists. Receipt images sent for OCR are not retained after processing. Your saved receipts stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.
Fishle is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
