This policy describes what data Soodoku ("the app") collects, why, and how you can remove it. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact mustafa.eryilmaz.eee@gmail.com.
If you play the Daily Challenge or visit the Leaderboard, the app creates an anonymous account automatically — no email, phone number, or real name is ever required. This account holds:
Player_xxxxxx) or one you choose yourself. This data is used solely to power the leaderboard and friends features. It is stored with Supabase (our backend provider) and is visible to other players only as your username and leaderboard stats — never your device or identity. See Supabase's Privacy Policy for how our backend provider handles data on our behalf.
Every completed puzzle (free play and daily) is recorded in a local database on your device: variant, difficulty, completion time, mistakes, and hints used. This data never leaves your device — it is not sent to us or any third party, and is lost if you uninstall the app or switch devices. It powers the in-app Stats screen only.
The app stores a small amount of technical, non-personal state directly on your device (not sent to any server): whether you've purchased "Remove Ads," and a running count of completed puzzles used only to pace how often ads are shown (e.g. showing an interstitial every third free-play puzzle). Neither value identifies you or leaves your device.
The app checks whether your device currently has an internet connection, purely to decide when to retry sending a queued daily-challenge score after you've been offline. No network usage data, browsing activity, or connection details are collected or transmitted — only a yes/no "connected" signal read locally on your device.
The app shows ads via Google AdMob (banner ads on the home screen, and rewarded/interstitial ads during gameplay). AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, and may use this data for personalization, subject to your device's ad-tracking settings (e.g. iOS App Tracking Transparency, Android's advertising ID controls). See Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data disclosure for details. You can remove all ads at any time via the "Remove Ads" purchase.
If you purchase "Remove Ads," the transaction is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) — we do not receive or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.). We only receive confirmation that the purchase was made, so the app can stop showing ads and unlock the ad-free state.
| Service | What it's used for | What it can see |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Anonymous account, daily scores, leaderboard, friends | User ID, username, scores, friend list |
| Google AdMob | Showing ads | Device/advertising identifiers, ad interaction data |
| Apple App Store / Google Play Billing | Processing "Remove Ads" purchase | Payment details (never shared with us) |
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data. We do not require account creation with any personal identifier to play, and we never sell your data.
Account data is retained until you delete your account in-app (see above) or request deletion by contacting us at the email below. Local stats and preferences persist on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data through your device's settings.
Soodoku is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
